We produce CACO3® BIO-BASED HU2024, an emulsion developed from poultry industry waste, lime and VAE derived from organic acetic acid. Its wide range of uses in coating systems containing opacifying pigments is remarkable. The dispersion has low odour and is produced without the use of alkylphenol ethoxylate (APEO) compounds.

Provides even and long-lasting coverage with low odour emission.
It offers excellent weather resistance and durability in adverse conditions.
Improves the energy efficiency and fire resistance of insulation systems.
Ensures easy application and superior adhesion with high flexibility.
CACO3® BIO-BASED HU2024 has proven to be an outstanding binder in many fields of application and stands out for its versatility. It is particularly recommended for producing lime paints with high hiding power and excellent flexibility. Due to its high pH, HU2024 can be used as a binder without the need for an additive in the container. The dispersion is easily compatible with hydraulic lime and hardly influences its setting time, increasing the water resistance of the adhesive and the base coat.
Due to their low flammability, correctly installed EIFS with this composition are classified as Class B according to EN 13501-1. Interior plaster based on HU2024 does not require film-forming agents and has the advantage of producing very little odour during application. However, it is recommended to test the compatibility of the mixture by means of a storage test, as differences in refractive indices can cause opacity in the dry film.
Production of a base for paints and lime coatings with a more sustainable solution and lower environmental impact.
